Biography - Christine Rae
A leader in the home staging field, Christine Rae, President of CSP International™ Training Academy provides aspiring home stagers/entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn from the leading experts in the field. The CSP™ Staging business program offers a well–developed curriculum for students resulting in Certified Staging Professional™ certification. This intensive, hands–on workshop is delivered across North America and Australia.

Christine‘s experience and expertise in home staging is highly respected. In 2001, after twenty years in executive business management and sales, Christine decided the time was right to pursue her passion for interior decorating. Training with pre–eminent interior designer, Lauri Ward, who has been featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, and Inside Edition, she went on to work with Barb Schwarz of Stagedhomes.com; holding the position of Regional Director for three years in Canada, North East United States and the UK. During her career she expanded and honed her skills by studying with Ann Maurice, “TV House Doctor” and original staging guru, author of six books and host of four TV programs which millions of viewers watch worldwide. In addition to countless seminars, workshops and conventions.

The CSP™ program was developed and released in September 2005, in response to demand for a staging training program with “meat”. The differential being actually being in the trenches, building a business where there were no guidelines, precedents or standards. Christine has quickly become known as an expert in the field and is one of the most certified trainers in North America. Within the first year of its existence, CSP certified 450 staging consultants across Canada and in August 2006 CSP™ launched its program in the U.S. Since then the graduate number has grown to 2000 and we have a team of 10 talented trainers who maintain successful staging businesses as well. Feb 2009 CSP launched their successful program in Australia.

Christine has co-authored two books: an e–book titled “Home Staging Business Guide” and the 2008 Wiley Press “Home Staging for Dummies”. Christine has studied with Dewey Sadka, pre–eminent colour expert. And sits on the Dewey Colour System Advisory council. Dewey created a multi–patented system that is now the world‘s first scientifically valid, color–based personality test. He has been featured on HGTV.COM, Discovery Channel, CNN, and written about in over 40 national magazines.

In 2004, Christine was the recipient of an International Staging Award of Excellence. In 2008 she was recognised for her work in the Staging Industry as well as for EcoStaging™ by the Real Estate Staging Association when she was awarded “Innovator of the Year 2008-2009”. She is an affiliate of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and the Interior Design Society, charter member of the Society of Decorating Professionals and founder of the International Staging Professional Association.
